FrogDog CEO Leslie Farnsworth participated in a webinar titled “Entrepreneurship: Year One” sponsored by the Johns Hopkins University Second Decade Society on Wednesday, December 9, 2015. The webinar was hosted in conjunction with the Johns Hopkins Career Center and aimed to give the school’s undergraduate students insight into the first year of launching a business. Topics covered included what led each individual to an entrepreneurial path, how they chose their initial teams, how they found customers, and what challenges they encountered along the way.
Leslie, along with three other entrepreneurs and Hopkins graduates, spoke about her experiences and gave advice to current students who are considering starting their own businesses. She was joined by Jeff Raider of Warby Parker and Harry’s, Elena Stokes of Wunderkind PR, and Logan Sugarman of Balcony Partners and RefreshBody.
Leslie is an active alumna of Johns Hopkins University. She currently serves as the chair of the Second Decade Society, a group of JHU graduates who are committed to supporting current undergraduate students through programming, leadership advancements, and scholarships.
